Don’t people have bigger fish to fry?

I mean I’m just a part time photographer and you have to go and attack my photo blog?

What’s the purpose?

Sorry folks for the inconvenience these pee-ons have caused.

Please bear with me until I have a chance to repair my photography blog.

The main site is fine but somehow only the blog part of it has been compromised.

I’ll keep you informed and let you know when I’m back up and running.

Last Friday we had a little party honoring my Christopher on his new position at Lifeline Pediatric Transport.

Yes folks, I changed backgrounds .  .  .  .  . again.

.  .  . and I know I’ve not been around much.

I promise to try and get a little busier with this blog, especially since I’ve not been too busy with my OTHER blog lately.

I think though that is about to change.

You see my Christopher was sent out on a mission while I was sleeping a couple of weeks ago.

He was sent to get some decals placed on my Jeep windows to advertise my new BUSINESS.

I told him to choose between silver lettering and pink (light).  My Jeep is dark blue and it has some chrome on it.

So I think he will surely come back with silver.  .  .  .  . but no.  .  .

he comes back with very bright hot pink lettering.

He said it just looked better.

Ha ~ isn’t that funny?

Well you know what?

It’s definitely an eye catcher.

I’ve already gotten a booking because of my bright hot pink advertising.

Who would have ever thought?

For most of you that read this, you know me as a respiratory therapist.

I became an RT because of my lifelong disease (asthma).  It’s kind of funny how there are so many of us who are asthmatics or have some sort of pulmonary disease.  It’s just one of those things that I grew up with, the disease, sickness, a hospital stay or two over the years and the need for my own RT at times.

After high school I was working at the State Health Department and met a wonderful person who also just happened to be the director for the American Lung Association in our state.  She kind of pushed me into the field with promises of hiring me to work alongside her after graduation.

. . .but during college I discovered babies.

Not in the sense of having babies, but caring for these super premature teeny tiny little beings.

. . .and I never looked back.

until now

. . . . I’ve made another discovery.

My love for photography.

It’s not really such a new thing for me.  I’ve always loved taking photos.  My poor children have had a camera stuck in their faces for most of their lives.

The “new” part is that I’ve now turned it into a business.

. . .and for right now it seems to be taking over my life.

That isn’t  a bad thing.  I’m loving every minute of it actually.  So much in fact that I’m hoping to be able to cut my hours back at the hospital and hopefully switch my nights around so that I can free up my Saturdays to possibly start photographing weddings.

. . .as soon as I get over that fear.  I’m actually scared to death to even attempt weddings at this point.

A lot of my problem is that I’ve never thought my photos were all that great.  I know My Christopher and other family members have always liked the ones they’ve seen, but to have others want me to photograph them or their families is such a strange concept to me.  .  .  .  but one that I’m enjoying immensely.

For some reason today I can’t upload any photos to my blog.

Every time I try it causes Mozilla to crash.

I’m only slightly frustrated.

I’ve been working on it for over three hours.

The computer that is, not the photos.  I only worked on those a short time, but tomorrow I’ll have more of these:

Isn’t she beautiful?  I just love her to pieces.  She is very alert and every time she heard the camera making noises she would just stare at it.

What a fun day!!

I’ll have more photos on my photo blog at a later time.

I was also asked by my friend LaQuesha to take maternity photos of her before her big delivery day next week.  The previous photo is of her and her little guy Lee.  Isn’t he just the sweetest?  He’s obviously very excited to be having a new baby sister.
