Cade’s baseball season ended a little early this year because of the flooding in Martinsville. Luckily his baseball party didn’t get cancelled. It was so much fun for these boys. They had a wonderful coach who made the season so much fun for them.
This is Cade and Kolten, the assistant coaches son. This was a pizza party, hence the pizza sauce on Cade’s face.

All in all it was a great season for the boys. They had a very young team compared to the others, but still managed to win half of their games.

Cade had a scrimmage game tonight against the Cubs. I absolutely love watching the little guys play baseball, they are so darn cute at this age. His team is the Angels and I believe we won, actually I’m not so sure, I just know that they let every kid bat, they get 5 pitches to hit the ball and if they don’t make it then they have to go sit down, but they don’t really count the outs, they’re done batting when every kid has had a turn to bat. Some of these guys can hit the ball all the way to the fence. Cade hit the ball out past 2nd base, made it to first base and eventually scored. He has a real game this Saturday afternoon and absolutely can’t wait.
