This Boy Of Mine
Cory has had exciting news this past week.
His Rewind group, at least the graduates from last year who were in the Senior Rewind class asked him to participate in a 48 hour short film festival thingy. Not sure what the correct term is, but I know that his group has 48 hours to produce a short film. He was the only high school student asked to participate with this group so he was just about as excited as I’ve ever seen him.
It started tonight.
They have till Sunday evening at 7pm.
He is super excited about this adventure.
He has been texting with me letting me know little tidbits here and there such as:
“Hey Mom, there are 8 guys staying in the same hotel room.” (Oh joy for the hotel staff).
So I’m guessing there are 2 girls and they are staying in their own room.
A mother can only hope.
Did I mention the big LOL he put after that statement?
A little later he texted again this time telling me this: “Genre is suspense, character name is Professor Kane and the line of dialogue is: I’m not talking to you.”
He also mentioned that he is the co-lead along with a girl named Sarah.
Yes, he is super excited. He won’t say anymore about it till it’s complete.
Then about a half hour later he told me I need to schedule him for the SAT.
I certainly hope his focus improves. . . . and quickly.
I think it’s funny how his mind jumps from one subject to another.
Especially when he is supposed to be focusing on something else.
