It’s that time again. Time for confessions of all things you did NOT (really did) do this past week. This wonderful little (not so much) group therapy session was created by the fantastic MckMama.
To play along with us write a post about all the things you “didn’t” do this week then go to
My Charming Kids and add your name to Mr. Linky at the bottom of her “Not Me Monday” post. Come on you know you’re just dying to fess up.
This week:
- I did NOT just today, matter of fact just a few moments ago go out onto my front porch to get food for my little doggies and find that my coonhound has brought me a nice small gift this time of a dead squirrel. I’m supposing he is all out of dead deer carcasses in which to bring me and has decided I would love something smaller and this time more furry than the completely decomposed remains of a deer.  He obviously loves me very much. Can you just say eeeewwwww.
- I did NOT have a wonderful date night with my husband last Wednesday of dinner at Cheesecake Factory followed by a movie. We did NOT go see “Taken”. I am NOT just a little worried now to send my teenage son to Germany for three months this fall after seeing this movie. I know these things happen to young girls in foreign countries, but I am after all a mother and worrying is what we do. Right?
- I did NOT just spend approximately two hours trying to fix the comment section of my blog because some of these crazy wordpress themes just aren’t compatible with the newer versions of wordpress and wasn’t allowing people to post comments. I did NOT seriously worry that people had stopped reading my posts, even though my stats show about the same number of hits as with previous posts of late.
- I did NOT feel extremely guilty because three days of the past week I have tried taking Cade bowling at our local bowling alley and today found out that the only three days they have open bowling nights are the three nights I work. I did NOT promise to take him to another town thirty minutes away from home tomorrow night because I can’t stand to make him cry. I did NOT also stop at the local WalMart (the one I posted about here ) and buy rockets for us to build together and launch as soon as the weather permits.
- I do NOT have plans to start spring cleaning this week first starting with Cade’s room. I plan to move one of the computers into his room from the loft to make room for a new treadmill. Yes folks I plan to start burning some major calories so I can have a perfectly fit beach body by summertime. Right. . . .who am I kidding, I haven’t had a beach body since before baby number 1 over 17 years ago, but it sounds good and I’m hoping to at least have more energy and feel better about myself.
Come on and join in on the fun. Just click on the link in the paragraph below the Not Me! Monday box above to go to MckMama’s blog. It’s loads of fun.
