Not Me! Monday
To play along with us write a post about all the things you “didn’t” do this week then go to My Charming Kids and add your name to Mr. Linky at the bottom of her “Not Me Monday” post.
This week:
• I did NOT get completely spoiled by my hubby. He did NOT take me out to dinner with my entire family (except for my sister in law ~ missed you Jane) on one occasion then plan a night out with a large group of friends midway through the week.
• I did NOT have the absolute best time with these crazy friends of mine first at PF Changs then at Howl at the Moon.
• I did NOT have just a few too many cocktails. I did NOT plan to have just enough so that when they forced me up on stage at the piano bar I wouldn’t be quite so bothered by all the attention. I did NOT feel completely comfortable on the piano bench and allow the man to put a bumper sticker on my ~ahem bumper.
• I did NOT sing out loud to almost every song even though I didn’t know all the words, knowing I didn’t know all the words and totally make up my own words on more than one occasion. Hey our table did NOT win the loudest table contest and get a free bucket of drinks.
• I did NOT wake up the next day feeling just a little dizzy, light headed and nauseous. This is NOT what a hangover is supposed to feel like is it? If NOT then I’m never ever doing this again.
• I did NOT try my best to wear my princess tiara that my Jules purchased for me out of the childrens department. I did NOT know this would never ever fit on my rather large head. I was NOT determined to be the princess that night. As if everyone did NOT know that it was my party.
• I did NOT stay in bed, or on the couch almost all day recovering from my wonderful night out.
• My Christopher is NOT the most wonderful husband in the world.
• He did NOT back into my friends rather big truck while we were leaving for work Friday evening.
• I was NOT uber excited to see Celine Dion this weekend with my Mom and friend Jules.
• It was NOT the best concert ever!!
• My friend Jules does NOT have the other best man in the whole world for a boyfriend. He did NOT spoil us by dropping us off right at the door then take us back to my car and warm it up for us so that we wouldn’t have to get into a very cold car. It was NOT below 0 degrees when we left the concert.
• My coonhound is NOT staying inside tonight for the first time ever because it is NOT below 0 degrees outside with a windchill of what feels like -100 degrees. I know I will NOT regret this decision in the morning (please don’t let me regret this in the morning).
