Not Me Monday
To play along with us write a post about all the things you “didn’t” do this week then go to My Charming Kids and add your name to Mr. Linky at the bottom of her “Not Me Monday” post.
This week:
• I did NOT totally forget to do laundry this week. I mean who could forget that? Nope NOT me. Luckily I have a husband who doesn’t forget these things and doesn’t mind doing the things I forget to do.
• I did NOT put baking soda paste on the wasp sting my little guy got then proceed to put his sock on over the top and send him to the bus anyway, I mean what mother would force him out the door with a fresh booboo like that? NOT me.
•I did NOT ask my hubby in a very sweet tone (knowing he wouldn’t say no) to please stop and get some AA batteries so I can install our new thermostat on Thanksgiving morning. I mean how many stores are really open on Thanksgiving? Obviously the truck stops are.
• I did NOT go and see Twilight for yet a 3rd time. This time with my stepdaughter. We also did NOT purchase Edward posters and a t-shirt this time for her. We are NOT obsessed. Nope, NOT.
• I did NOT jump for joy upon hearing that my hubby ordered a new laptop for me for Christmas. I am NOT spoiled even one little bit. I do NOT plan on installing a padlock on this one so children can’t touch ever.
• I did NOT install a new thermostat this week, you know the kind that drops the temperature for you when you are gone or sleeping so that you save on your heating bill. When my stepdaughter came to visit I did NOT forget to set the temperature to hold at a warmer temp after we left for work one evening so that she wouldn’t freeze into an icicle while we were gone. Nope NOT me.
