Wordful/Wordless Wednesday
What you see above is my ginormous Christmas Tree. This tree my hubby got me while we were out shopping last Thursday (so Carol, who cleans my house could dust without sending me into an asthma attack).
I have wanted a 12ft. tree for a long time and saw this one last year but the store wouldn’t sell them as they only had 2 for their display only. This year they did have them available for purchase which made me extremely happy.
I hadn’t planned on putting the thing up till after Thanksgiving. We typically put our tree up the Sunday after the holiday.
I was actually planning on putting it together only to check to be sure the lights worked, but once I realized how much work it was putting together there is no way it’s coming down till after Christmas.
So there it sits in my great room.
Hopefully I won’t be sick of it before the holidays are over.

PS yes, I have a fly strip hanging by the window. Log homes are notorious for having bug problems this time of year. They sneak in through the cracks. YUCK!! It drives me crazy.
