Not Me Monday
To play along with us write a post about all the things you “didn’t” do this week then go to My Charming Kids and add your name to Mr. Linky at the bottom of her “Not Me Monday” post.
Here are the things I did NOT do this week:
* I did NOT spend Veterans Day at my son’s school laughing my butt off at a little girl who kept pulling her shirt up and exposing her 7 year old little self to a gymnasium full of people during a song they were performing.
* I did NOT then drive like a maniac to hurry home and sleep (vampire that I am, or at least that’s how I feel at times) because I spend my nights awake. I do NOT have insomnia from having such wacked out hours.
* I did NOT get completely spoiled by my wonderful hubby on Thursday by shopping & going out to lunch. He did NOT get me a 12ft. artificial Christmas tree because it’s NOT the one I spoke to the manager of the store about last Christmas when they refused to sell the 2 they had on display because it was NOT for their decoration only. All of this taking place while my house was NOT being cleaned by the cleaning person my hubby hired for me.
* I did NOT get very frustrated at the WalMart tire/lube employees because when the store where we live called the store a half hour away to see if they had a certain tire in stock for my son’s car they did NOT tell him that they did and when we drove all the way there we found out that they didn’t even check the shelf to see if in fact they did NOT have the tire even though the computer says they did NOT. I did NOT promptly call from my phone another store a half hour the other direction from my home which is NOT an hour from where we are at this point and say loudly enough for the employees to hear how incompetent I feel these people are at their jobs because they were NOT too lazy to get off their butts to check and save me a needless trip.
* I am NOT freaking out just a little because I could possibly have 2 teens living in my household very soon. They are NOT only 6 months apart and are NOT both driving, which in and of itself is NOT very stressful.
* I am NOT uber excited that this week is the premier of Twilight. The girlfriends and I are NOT meeting up 4 hours prior to the movie starting, to have dinner and maybe even a cocktail or 2.
* I am NOT planning to put my ginormous Christmas tree up this week. Hey I need to make sure the lights work don’t I?
