Another Milestone
My baby is learning cursive.
I guess I had forgotten that that is something learned in 2nd grade. It seems only yesterday that his big brother Cory was learning to write this way. At that time I was hoping that writing in cursive would somehow improve the chicken scratches that he produced while printing.
It didn’t. He still had horrible penmanship. It hasn’t improved at all in the past 10 years. That’s okay though, maybe he’ll be a doctor. (Sorry to all the doctors that may read this, but I know pretty handwriting isn’t high up there on your list of priorities).
Cade on the other hand has remarkable penmanship. Not to mention he is a perfectionist and takes great pride in producing the best work of which he is capable.
So would you consider this a milestone?
I think so.
But. . .he’s still my baby.
