To play along with us write a post about all the things you “didn’t” do this week then go to
My Charming Kids and add your name to Mr. Linky at the bottom of her “Not Me Monday” post.
Here’s all the things I “didn’t” do this week:
* I did not get placed on hold for over an hour by 3 different people at AT & T while trying to find someone who could help me combine my cell phone and home phone bill, only to have them tell me that it doesn’t appear my cell phone account even exists. HELLO! I’ve had an account with them for 10 years. Finally, when it appears they have found the right department for me to talk to I get a recording that the office is now closed for the day.
* I did not almost throw my stupid cell phone at the wall after hearing that message.
* I did not convince our security guard at work to read “Twilight” so he can go to the premier with us when the movie comes out. Hey, what single guy wouldn’t love to be the only guy with over 10 women watching a romantic love story? Who cares that almost every one of us are married.
* I did not rescue yet another poor lonely doggy off the road and take her home thinking she would be another wonderful addition to our family.
* I did not seriously consider hiding the big package that my oldest son received in the mail from the college he’s the most interested in, mainly because it’s in Florida and I don’t want him to leave home. Ever!!
* I did not have a sweet little old 80-something year old patient tell me that she’s “high”. “High on drugs”, when I entered her room this week. Then break out in hysterical giggles.”
* I did not (in my mind) curse at the stupid phone people yet again because when I went to try and upgrade my husbands phone, the girl who was speaking to the company on the phone was told after waiting for 20 minutes that their computer systems were down for the day for updates and wouldn’t be back on till 10pm. They did manage to deactivate his sim card though so his phone wasn’t functional for the remainder of the day.
