This Baby Shared Cade’s Birthday
Living in the country definitely has its advantages. It isn’t every day that you find an abandoned baby like the one below that you end up snuggling with and bottle feeding because it has no mama. I suppose in a way I was this baby’s mama for a short time.
This baby deer was found during the time we lived in the Lake House at Lake Hollybrook while our current house was being built. It was born on Cade’s birthday in 2004. It ended up going to live on a farm with relatives of ours that didn’t work full time jobs away from home so that it could be cared for properly.
