Rain!!
Okay, I knew there was a chance for rain on Wednesday, but it’s now Thursday morning and it’s still raining. I should be thankful that hopefully it will help my grass to grow. Don’t get me wrong, I love rainy days when I need to be sleeping for work, but it definitely dampens my style a little bit when I don’t. So there will be no pictures of rain here, I will update when grass starts growing. What an exciting day that will be (for me anyway).
On a side note, Cory injured his thumb last week playing soccer so today we will go have it rechecked. He seriously thought he had broken it (did that once playing baseball) because he heard it pop, but I’m guessing that was the noise of it dislocating. He managed to pop it back into place and not chip off any bone fragments or anything. Lucky for him. So anyhow, he has had a splint for the past week and will hopefully not have to wear it anymore after today.
Cade gets to go with the principal on a field trip to the theater on Monday. All children that made the honor roll or had perfect attendance all year are going on this trip. They are to see Horton Hears A Who. This will be the second time for him, but will be fun nonetheless. We are so proud of him for this accomplishment.
