Monthly Summary
Since this will be my first post I decided to summarize a few happenings for this month. On October 7th the family went to Waterman’s Pumpkin Patch on the south side of Indianapolis, Chris had never been to a pumpkin patch before and Cade doesn’t remember ever going so it was a fun family excursion, though the weather was quite warm (I believe it was near 90 degrees that day).
Cory finished up his fall baseball season about mid month and his team was named champions of the league, this league consists of players from almost every school in Morgan and Hendricks counties and they are only allowed to use wooden bats. This was the first time he has played in over 2 years and they had boys aged 14 – 19 on the team so it was a bit difficult getting used to being pitched to at 85mph or more, let’s just say his hand was sore on more than one occasion.
Cade finished up his first grading period with straight A’s, though he is having a bit of difficulty taking tests on the computer, he seems to do well on paper, so I think I’m going to set him up on the kids computer with some educational games just to familiarize him a bit more with the computer.
Brittneigh got her learner’s permit and is ready to start driver education on the 29th of the month.
Chris and Brittneigh left yesterday on a trip down to Annville, Kentucky to visit Shane, Heather and the baby who just moved to KY from Arizona earlier this month. Shane got tickets for he and Chris to go see the Tennessee Titans play on Sunday and Britt is spending the weekend with Heather going shopping and doing girly things. They haven’t seen each other in over 4 years so all are very excited.
That sums up everything I can think of at the moment.
